Labour’s obsession with an open-door immigration policy has hit its core vote hardest, writes Alasdair Palmer
The Labour leadership seems finally to be waking up to the fact that the party’s immigration policy has not been popular with what has traditionally been seen as its core vote: Britain’s white working class. The development appears to have taken Hazel Blears, the Communities Secretary, by surprise. MALE nurse Colin Norris was jailed for life today at Newcastle Crown Court for the murder of four patients and attempted murder of a fifth.
Norris was given four life sentences with a minimum term of 30 years for each of the murders and a 20-year sentence to run concurrently for attempted murder
The judge said he had considered imposing a full life sentence without any early release
Excuse me But what is life valued at these days, if the above is correct each of our lives are only worth SEVEN AND A HALF YEARS……….
My view is LIFE IS LIFE and with the average age expectancy for the UK being – 83.79 YEARS WHERE HAS THE 7.5 YEARS COME FROM
